Susana Darias-Benitez

Susana did her undergraduate studies at The University of Tampa with a Major in the Communications field. In December 2016 she graduated with a Communications Degree. Susana accomplished two internships back in 2016 one at iHeart Radio in a show called Real Estate Quarterback a show in which Susana was in charge of the post-production. Susana also did an internship at WEDU, where she learned everything behind the scenes. Susana assisted the Camera operator, working on the scripts, floor directing, audio operating, on-field shooting and also interviewing people. Susana was also a part of a different TV show called Florida This Week.

Susana is pursuing her Master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology at the University of Tampa. Susana is seeking to combine her undergraduate professional experience with her academic experience in Instructional Design and Technology.

Susana did an internship with a company called Braathe Enterprises where she was in charge of developing assignments and activities for business and marketing classes. Susana was able to demonstrate the proficiency of knowledge while developing different tasks.

Susana enjoys using different software tools as Storyline 360, Canvas, Piktochart, and Captivate. Some of the projects that Susana has been working on during the program include Introduction to Computer Skills for Seniors, Tele-Counseling Center Training, How to Manage a Family Member in a Diabetic Crisis Until EMS Arrives.

​

In December 2019, Susana will earn a Master of Science degree in Instructional Design and Technology. She is excited to work as an Instructional Designer and to apply the knowledge acquired during the program.
